International Cricket Council has declared the schedule of Cricket World Cup 2015 to be played in Australia and New Zealand combined. It will start in the month of February and will end in the last week of march. The final of the world cup will be played in Melbourne Cricket Ground, Australia. There are total of 14 teams which will be participating in the Cricket World Cup 2015. Beside the top 10 regular teams of ICC, there are 4 qualifier teams namely : Scotland, UAE, Afghanistan and Ireland.

There are number of venues selected in both the countries for matches. All the matches of world cup will be played at these selected venues only. Govt. of Australia is providing a single VISA for both the countries to watch matches of cricket world cup 2015.

The teams which will qualify the group matches will continue to play in the quarter finals. Teams qualifying the quarter finals will play semifinals and then the top 2 teams will play the final in Melbourne Cricket Ground.
